Jessica Adams

One of our own, Jessica Adams comes to us as a Board Member and an experienced Member of our co-op family!  She is currently working on completing a degree in Early Childhood Education, and has extensive experience working with, and planning lessons for Jessica Adams photochildren ages 2-9 years old in a classroom setting. Additionally, she has proven herself to be a leader and a team-player in her work on both of her children’s school boards.

Jessica plans to work closely with the Board, Members, and Students this year to make this new transition as smooth as possible.  She is driven by a deep desire to meet the ever-changing needs of our community with an open mind, willing spirit and a humble heart.

Jessica says, “As an educator, I am wholeheartedly committed to the whole student, and believe that my strength is in teaching young children the skills necessary for lifelong personal success in an age-appropriate and playful way.In my spare time, I enjoy finding new books to read with my family, going on adventures, being in the kitchen, playing outdoors and creating!
I am looking forward to an incredible year and want to thank all of you for the opportunity to be a part of such an important stage in your child’s life! Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, comments, or concerns about your child or the classroom.  I am here to help!”

Pamela Frank

Co-op is near and dear to my heart.  I truly believe that being involved in your child’s education at a co-op preschool provides such a special experience that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Co-op nourishes the relationships with other families and with our own children. APamela Franks a teacher, I believe it is my responsibility to uphold the co-op values and to create a playful, fun environment that will inspire learning. Recognizing that each child is unique and learns in different ways, it is my goal to help your child develop their own love for learning.

Outside of family and preschool life, I am very involved in working with families through outreach.  This year will be my fifth year directing the Edmonds Toy Shop, an organization that coordinates with the Edmonds Food Bank to provide children and families a special holiday experience. In addition, my daughter and I will be traveling to the Bahamas this summer to help rebuild houses destroyed by hurricanes and to volunteer in an after-school program.

A few fun things about me: My favorite colors are teal and purple. My favorite animal is the panda bear.  My favorite preschool song is The Umbrella Song.  My most memorable moment has been holding a tarantula for the kids to see up-close on a field trip!

Again, I am incredibly excited to be joining Playful Learning Co-op!  I am really looking forward to getting to know you all during the upcoming school year. Thank you for welcoming me into your community!
