Playful Learning Co-op Preschool is excited to announce that we are making changes to our 4 year old class to better align it with the Washington State standards for pre-k education. Starting with the 2014-2015 school year our 4’s/PM class will be our Pre K class and will be offered 4 days per week for 2.5 hours per day. We’re looking forward to giving our pre-kindergarteners more class time to gear up for their elementary school careers! Final details on days/times are still being worked out so stay tuned for updates.
Join Playful Learning Co-op Preschool at our Spring Open House, Saturday May 3rd from 10am – 11am! Come play in the classroom, learn about our program and register for the 2014-2015 school year. This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about our co-op or about the co-op philosophy in general and the whole family is welcome! No need to RSVP; just show up to play at 10am on 5/3/14. We hope to see you there!
We are happy to announce that MLT Cooperative Preschool has changed our DBA (“Doing Business As”) name to Playful Learning Cooperative Preschool. While it was sad to let our original name go (after almost 50 years) we wanted to transition to a name that would better reflect our co-op’s philosophy and not its prior location. We love our new name and hope you will too!
Families with little ones around the house – it’s not too late to register for preschool this fall. Mountlake Terrace Co-op Preschool still has openings in all three classes (2 year-olds, 3 to 4 1/2 and 3 1/2 to 5 year-olds). For more information about the program or to get registration information, please contact our school registrar (email to registrar -at- mlt-coop.com).
Classes are filled on a first come/first served basis, so contact us today for information and to get your child enrolled!
Our summer Open House will be Wednesday, August 21st from 10am – 12pm. All prospective families, plus our new and returning families are invited to come play in our new classrooms, meet Teacher Anna, get to know new friends and have a chance to visit the new building before school starts.
Prospective families should note that although they can register for preschool at the open house, space is filled on a first come/first served basis and there is no guarantee that there will be openings available at that time – interested families should contact the registrar (email registrar -at- mlt-coop.com) for more information ahead of time.
